Superb Weekend With Your Family Around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Part 1 [ENG]

Weekends and holidays is a day awaited by children. For them, weekend is a day to free from their school work and to get up early in the morning. Parents most probably will feel the same. Of course the parents are looking forward on weekends and holidays because it is a very appropriate time for spending a quality time with the family. The family is a priceless treasure and no replacement. So definitely, we need to appreciate and find time for family. Weekend with family and children will be more beautiful if it is filled with useful activities such as a picnic in the recreational park or visiting interesting places in Malaysia. There are still few places to be visited without running out the monthly budget.

There are few perfect places to relax with family over the weekend and I have been there with tight budget.

1. Paya Indah Wetland, Dengkil

There is no entrance fee is charged. You can either park your car for free and take a brisk walk or you can drive around the  area at Paya Indah Wetlands. Charming atmosphere and tranquility for a picnic and relax with friends while enjoying the wildlife animals there such as hippos and crocodiles.

2. National Zoo of Malaysia, Ulu Kelang

National Zoo entrance fee is quite expensive but worth it because it can help your childrento feel close to the animals. Exposure to the outside world can boost your children to be more proactive. "Experience is the best teacher"

3. Sungai Gabai Waterfall, Cheras

The waterfalls were cold and refreshing. This experience is a very worthwhile endeavor you climb the stairs like a 1 km high. A sweet advice to you before climbing the stairs, please do a warm up first. Just need to pay an entrance fee of RM1 per person. Parking is free. Picnic while enjoying the sound of the waterfall is very relaxing.

4. Sungai Congkak Cheras

Picnic with friends in Sg Congkak is a very wonderful experience. The water is clear and very cold that can freshen you up. Just need to pay an entrance fee of RM1 per person and every facility provided. There is a prayer room and a bathroom and dressing included.

5. Taman Tasik Titiwangsa Recreation

Recreational activities such as biking or jogging with your family is also a useful way of living together. There is no entrance fee is charged for recreational park in Tasik Titiwangsa Recreational Park. In addition, you can also see the race car racing toys 'go-kart' here.

6. Putrajaya Botanical Garden

For families who like to enjoy the beauty of the flowers and trees are advised to visit the Botanical Garden of Putrajaya. It's a good exposure for your kids to the world of flora. Do not worry about the tickets because it's free, and parking is also free. In addition, you can also cycle here. The bicycles are provided however you need to pay the fee.

7. Pantai Bagan Lalang
